
Kansas City Signs Bella Edwards

Edwards played in 21 games as a freshman for Oral Roberts last season
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Women's Basketball has signed another transfer out of the portal with the addition of Bella Edwards to the backcourt for 2026-27. Edwards is a 5'11 guard from Amarillo, Texas and last played for Summit-foe Oral Roberts as a freshman last year.
In 2024-25, Edwards made 21 appearances for the Golden Eagles, averaging 3.2 points per game and shooting 39.6% from three point range. Edwards notched double figure scoring twice, racking up a season-high 13 points against South Dakota State on January 10 while posting 11 points versus North Dakota on January 29.
Edwards is a former TABC All-State, All-Region and All-Academic performer at Amarillo High School, where she played her junior and senior seasons. Additionally, Edwards also took home Press Pass Player of the Year and UIL Offensive Player of the District honors for the Sandies while making First Team All-District in 2024.
Prior to that, Edwards won Regional MVP honors after leading her team to the 18u Regional, State and National Championships in the NCHBC (National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championship).
