SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (via The Summit League) – The Summit League announced its nine-game regular season lineup of men's and women's basketball games that will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. The nine-game schedule will be added to the four postseason games scheduled to be televised on the network from the 2026 Summit League Basketball Championships, which include the men's semifinals on March 7 and the women's and men's title games on March 8.
For the third straight year, 13 Summit League games will appear linearly on CBS Sports Network with the slate starting with a Summit-Big Sky Challenge women's basketball game between Montana State and North Dakota State on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. CT.
South Dakota State will host a nationally-ranked squad on the network for the second straight year when the Jackrabbits entertain No. 4 Texas on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. CT. SDSU was one of 12 teams receiving votes in the preseason Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The seven men's games on the network will all be intra-Summit League tilts starting with a Saturday, Jan. 3 clash between Oral Roberts and North Dakota State at 3 p.m. CT. The Golden Eagles will be under the direction of first-year head coach Kory Barnett.
The top five teams in the men's preseason poll will each appear twice on the network. Preseason favorite St. Thomas will play host to Kansas City on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. CT in the brand new Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.
The Tommies, who topped the preseason poll for the first time since joining the Summit, have back-to-back games on the network as they will face SDSU in Brookings on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. CT.
That is the first of two straight home games for the Jackrabbits on the network, who will also face in-state rival South Dakota on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. CT.
Another in-state rivalry game is next on the nine-game regular season docket and set for Valentine's Day as North Dakota State travels to Grand Forks to take on North Dakota at 1 p.m. CT.
Defending regular season and tournament champion Omaha will host Denver and first-year head coach Tim Bergstraser on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 12 p.m. CT. The Mavericks will wrap up the slate with a road game at South Dakota scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. CT.
