KEY MOMENTS | HIGHLIGHTS
- 19' / 1-0Â | Following an uneventful start to the game, Miguel Fernandez made a tackle along the sideline and quickly played the ball to Raphael Kistmann. Kistmann played a long driven pass forward, catching the UNLV back line on its heels and connecting with Hoelting, who beat the goalkeeper and deposited the first goal of the game.

- 31' / 1-1 | Brevyn Cole put a shot on goal, but it was saved by UNLV's Hugo Lemos. On the ensuing counter attack, the Rebels were able to force Brandon McGaugh off of his line, committing a foul in the box. UNLV's Gabe Sanchez would score the PK and equalize.
- 43' / 1-2 | UNLV set up a lead going into the half as Lucas Gelebart found Claudio Lopez Alos for a score.
- 58' / 2-2 | Kansas City applied pressure in the beginning stages of the second half, attempting four shots in the span of two minutes. It all culminated as Lemos went to take a goal kick, but drove it right to Hector Taboada, who deflected it the direction of Kisoka for an equalizing goal.
