
Men's Soccer Releases Full 2024 Schedule

The Roos will play seven home contests, including games against UCSB and Tulsa
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Men's Soccer has officially released its 2024 season schedule, as was announced today. The Roos will play a 17-game schedule, with seven contests being played at home in addition to three home exhibitions. Single game and season tickets are available immediately.
The Roos will open up the season with three exhibition contests, all played at Durwood Soccer Stadium. Beginning with a tester against Johnson County CC on Aug. 8, the Roos will also take on Missouri Valley and Central Arkansas before the start of the regular season.
Kansas City starts the official season on the road with a trip to California, starting with a season opener against Saint Mary's on Aug. 22 and moving to San Fracisco on Aug. 24.
The team's home opener will take place on Aug. 29 at 8 p.m., as Kansas City hosts UC Santa Barbara in a return game from last season's meeting with the Gauchos.
The Roos are back on the road to begin September, playing at Missouri State, Northern Illinois and Drake before returning home for a game with Mercer on Sep. 13.
After traveling to UNLV, Kansas City will have one more home contest before the start of Summit League play. The Roos will welcome Tulsa to town on Sep. 24, Head Coach Ryan Pore's first time hosting a game against his alma mater.
Summit League play begins on Sep. 28, with the schedule taking a double round-robin format. The Roos will host and travel each of the league's other four teams throughout the conference gauntlet.Â
KC's league schedule includes home games against Denver on Oct. 12, St. Thomas on Oct. 19, Omaha on Oct. 26 and a regular season finale against Oral Roberts on Nov. 9.Â
The top two teams from league play will qualify for the Championship game, set to be played on Nov. 16.
