The Roos swept past Eastern Illinois before dropping a close match at Bradley
PEKIN, Ill. - Kansas City Women's Tennis (2-6) got back into the win column against Eastern Illinois but could not pull out a tightly contested match against Bradley, going 1-1 in Illinois this weekend. The Roos had little trouble taking care of the Panthers on Saturday morning, earning a 7-0 win behind a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles from Catherine Chrobak. Today, Kansas City earned three points from the lower part of the lineup, but could not move past Bradley, falling, 4-3. Maria Bylina was took two singles victories on the weekend, moving her to 5-2 in the spring season including wins in each of the past three matches.
