
Three Roos Selected to Summit Men's Soccer Academic All-League Team

Julien Le Bourdoulous, Miguel Fernandez and Bryson Gosch all earned the academic honors
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Three Kansas City Men's Soccer players were selected to the Summit's Academic All-League Team on the tail of one of the greatest seasons in program history, as was announced today. Julien Le Bourdoulous, Miguel Fernandez and Bryson Gosch all earned spots on the academic list, matching the most in a single season in program history. Previously, the Roos had three players named Academic All-League in 2022.
Le Bourdoulous holds a 3.97 GPA in Communications Studies and was named First Team All-League and Summit League Tournament MVP in the Roos' conference championship victory. He broke the single-season program record for most assists in a single season with 12, tallying seven assists in the final five games of the year. He also went for one goal on the year, coming in the Roos' 3-2 win over Omaha on Oct. 26.
Fernandez boasts a 3.97 GPA in Business Administration and was a team captain. He started in all 21 of his appearances and earned Summit League All-Tournament Team honors. He scored one goal on the year, a game-winner against Tulsa on Sep. 24 and dished out a pair of assists, one in the Sep. 19 win over UNLV and another in the Nov. 9 win over Oral Roberts. He played a season-high 90 minutes in the Roos' round of 16 game against Pitt on Dec. 1.
Gosch has a 3.95 GPA in Business Administration and also wore the captain arm band, starting in 21 games. He played 1,776 minutes, the most of any outfield player on the team. He scored his lone goal of the year in the Roos' Summit League Championship victory over Denver, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He also logged one assist, coming in the Sep. 6 win at Northern Illinois. He was one of KC's most reliable players, going full-time in 15-of-21 appearances.Â
