Kpea’s Blocking Effort Highlights Kansas City’s Defensive Strength
KANSAS CITY, MO -Kansas City put up a spirited effort but ultimately fell to South Dakota State in three sets (21-25, 15-25, 20-25). The Roos showed tenacity in each set, with Kaia Dunford leading the offense and Ledisi Kpea making a strong impact at the net with key blocks. Despite their efforts to stay close, Kansas City couldn't overcome South Dakota State's consistency, concluding the match in three.

SET ONE / 21-25: Kansas City came out strong against South Dakota State, showing determination to keep the set close. Kaia Dunford was a force early on, delivering back-to-back kills to energize the Roos and bring them within striking distance.
