The Roos got big wins at No. 1, 4 and 5, but could not clinch the victory

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - In a match that lasted nearly four hours, Kansas City Tennis (9-11, 5-2 Summit) battled hard, but could not complete the comeback over Oral Roberts (7-12, 4-3 Summit) this evening, 4-3. The Roos fell behind by three early, fighting to tie the match up with singles points by Kate Miley, Joana Cardona and Michela Xibilia. It all came down to a three-set match at No. 3 with Laura Munoz-Baroja, but her effort fell just short and ORU claimed the victory.
