Sophomore Midfielder Brianna Castleberry came out firing in the Roos' matchup against Oral Roberts. Castleberry knocked in a goal in the first half and a brace in the second, earning her first career multi-goal appearance. Her two goals against Oral Roberts make her the first Roo with a multi-goal appearance since Kassi Ginther's two-goal performance on Aug. 27 2021 against Southern Illinois.
In Summit League play, Castleberry is tied for first in goals, with two goals across three games. Castleberry also leads the league in shots on goal during league play with eight. On the Roos' roster, Castleberry leads in four categories: points, goals, shots, and shots on goal.
The Roos' most recent win of conference play was their 1-0 win over South Dakota on Oct. 14, 2022. The Roos went 1-5-3 during conference play in the 2022 season and will look to improve on their current 0-1-2 record against the Tommies.
In goal, junior Riley Moore earned her second-career shutout in the matchup against North Dakota and has put up three career-high nine save appearances this season against Iowa, Colorado State and Tulsa. She has earned 56 saves with a 1.94 goals against average. Moore also leads the team in minutes, playing a full 90 in all but the Aug. 27 matchup against Saint Louis where she played 75 minutes.

St. Thomas Notes

The Tommies come into the matchup fresh off a scoreless draw against North Dakota State on Sunday. When the Roos faced North Dakota State in their Summit League opener, earlier this season, they walked away with a 1-1 draw.
The last time Kansas City and St.Thomas faced one another they drew 1-1 in St. Paul. Kansas City will look to bring home their first win of conference play and extend their record with the Tommies to 2-0 in Kansas City.
