On the team's overall performance
"We're really happy with the team getting a point today. We withstood a lot, they've got dynamic attacking players. We're proud of them gritting it out, sometimes it doesn't have to be the most pretty."
On the first two goals of the season being from first-time goal scorers
"I think the team feels the energy. Our training sessions in the attacking phase have been a lot different than last year. We've got other people that are being dangerous, and we're seeing them translate that into the game."
UP NEXT
Kansas City takes to Omaha for the team's first road match of the season, taking on Creighton on Thursday at 3 p.m. The Bluejays defeated the Roos in Kansas City last season, 3-0.
