
Tennis Adds Canadian Standout

The Roos will be joined by Canadian national Catherine Chrobak next season
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Women's Tennis and Head Coach Kendell Hale have announced the singing of Canadian junior Catherine Chrobak for the 2022-23 signing class.
"I am super excited to have Catherine as the newest member of the Roo family," Head Coach Kendell Hale said. "She is a great player, and more importantly a great person that will be an asset to our team. She shows great movement and is extremely smart on the court. We're excited to be able to work with her."
Chrobak has put together an impressive resume on the Canadian circuit, placing in several high-ranking tournaments. She was a doubles finalist at the u18 Bloomex Cup, an important national Junior Series Open tournament. She also placed fourth in Quebec in a National Selection tournament, has placed fourth, sixth and eighth in the Quebec Championships and qualified to represent Quebec at the Canadian Nationals several times. She is currently ranked seventh in Quebec in the selection for Canadian Nationals.
Chrobak will be eligible to join the Roos next season.
