McDavid and Alnatas combine for 19 points in the final quarter
FARGO, N.D. – Kansas City (13-4, 3-3) completed the comeback in Fargo to defeat North Dakota State (7-11, 3-5) by a final score of 67-62. Entering the fourth quarter down by 10, Brooklyn McDavid and Naomie Alnatas combined for 19 points to complete the come-from-behind victory. Paige Bradford and Kiara Bradley also knocked down crucial three-pointers to out-score the Bison 25-10 in the final frame.

- 4Q / 61-60 | McDavid converted a fast break layup through contact to take the lead after she knocked down her and-one free throw.
- 4Q / 63-62 | A perfect pass by Alnatas, through a double-team, gave McDavid a chance to take the lead again with a strong finish inside.

- 4Q / 67-62 | Alnatas iced the Bison at the free-throw line and added on a last second layup to secure the victory for the Roos.
- Three Roos finished in double digits, led by Alnatas with 19 points, five rebounds and four assists. Bradford followed with a near double-double, dropping 14 points and nine rebounds. McDavid rounded it out with 12 points and five rebounds.
- Foul trouble limited playing time for Alnatas and McDavid, but they came out in the fourth quarter and combined for 19 points.
- Bradley went 3-for-4 from the three-point line, totaling nine points, five rebounds and three assists. It was a neck-and-neck race at the three-point line with a combined 17 makes from beyond the arc.
- Kansas City's defense shut down North Dakota State's leading scorer, Heaven Hamling, limiting her to just two points.
- The Roos won the battle in points off of turnovers and second chance points, out-scoring the Bison 30-to-17 on the offensive glass and in transition.
- "That was a total team effort. Everybody stepped up at different times and every time when we needed it the most."

Kansas City will stay in North Dakota for a battle with the Fighting Hawks in Grand Forks on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Roos will then return home to the Swinney Center next Thursday for their second matchup of the season with Denver, tip-off at 6 p.m.
