COACH BILLY DONLON, QUOTED
- "Our guys have been through a lot since our last game of 2021 … They did a great job of doing everything in their power to find a way to win last night against Omaha. Baptist Bible made some shots in the first half and did some things offensively that hurt us. We do prepare for these non-DI games just like any other game and we didn't get to prepare at all, which will be a teachable moment."
- "We could have responded any which way out of halftime, and I think the way that we responded speaks volumes to the guys in the locker room. We did our job, but under the circumstances there are a lot of positives."
- "(ORU) is terrific. I've watched a lot of film on them and obviously we played them twice last year at their place. Max (Abmas) is great, but they have a lot of other guys. They play really hard defensively and they've won two conference road games already. We'll have our work cut out for us and we'll have to play well to win."
UP NEXT
The Roos are off until Saturday, when they'll take on reigning Summit League Tournament Champion and Sweet Sixteen qualifying Oral Roberts in the Swinney Center at 7 p.m.
