Five Things to Know
- Following a split against Western Illinois last weekend, Kansas City will look for its first sweep of conference play as it travels to Oral Roberts for games at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
- Jonaie Johnson posted a dominant stat line of six points/nine rebounds/10 assists in Friday's game at WIU. She set career-high marks in rebounds and assists, and accomplished the first double-digit assist performance by a Roo since Ericka Mattingly dished out 11 against Utah Valley on Feb. 23, 2019.
- One can generally tell how the game is going by how well the Roos are distributing the ball. In games this season, Kansas City is 4-0 when they dish at least 15 assists as a team, and 1-6 when they fail to reach that mark.
- After missing the previous four games, Lauren West made her mark in Friday's matchup with the Leathernecks. She dropped a career-high 10 points, following that up with an eight-point performance on Saturday.
