
Roos Host Cougars on Senior Day for Regular Season Finale

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC women's soccer will host Chicago State on Saturday, Oct. 29, for the regular season finale at 11 a.m. CT. The Roos will honor the four seniors on the team for their final home game in a UMKC uniform, with festivities starting approximately 15 minutes prior to kickoff.

Tickets can be purchased through the UMKC Athletics website at UMKCKangaroos.com/Tickets, or at the Durwood Stadium box office on game day with tickets starting at $5.

About the Roos
UMKC (5-9-4, 2-2-2 WAC) currently ranks fifth in the conference standings. A win for the Roos against the Cougars and a loss for Utah Valley would propel UMKC into the No. 3 seed for the conference tournament next week in Kansas City.
Sophomore forward Kelsey Mothershead (Smithville, Mo.) leads UMKC with six goals this season, adding an assists for a total of 13 points. Midfielder Reighan Childers (Grain Valley, Mo.) has totaled eight points on the season with three goals and two assists, and junior Lilly Cobb (Glen Carbon, Ill.) and senior Niekie Pellens (Naarden, Netherlands) have tallied seven and six points, respectively.
Anna Lillig (Kansas City, Mo.) holds a 3-9-4 record in goal with a .714 save percentage and a 1.61 goals allowed average. The sophomore goalkeeper has posted four shutouts on the season in 16 games played.
About the Cougars
Chicago State (1-15-0, 0-6-0) is led offensively by Mariela Alba, who has accumulated seven points with three goals and one assist for the Cougars. Taylor Rankin has added two goals and an assist, and Amber Jones has contributed with two goals as well. Audra Wisehart has played 951 minutes in goal, while Gabby Klemp has seen 495 minutes of playing time. The two have combined for a .620 save percentage and a 5.41 goals allowed average.
