UMKC Moves to 6-0 at Home with Romp of Western Illinois

(Kansas City, Mo.) - The UMKC women's tennis squad took care of business on Monday night, taking out Western Illinois by a 7-0 margin, and moved to 6-0 at home in the process.
The 'Roos (6-7) got a head start on the Leathernecks (1-13), as they had to play the match without a sixth player due to injury earlier in the day. They didn't need the help it would prove, as UMKC took bUMKC Moves to 6-0 at Home with Romp of Western Illinoisoth the doubles matches at No. 1 and No. 2.
In singles play, the 'Roos picked up where they left off, and won each match in straight sets.
UMKC will begin WAC play this weekend, facing New Mexico State, Grand Canyon, and Chiacgo State in Las Cruces, N.M.
