Kangaroos Move to 5-0 at Home with 5-2 Victory Over ORU

(Kansas City, Mo.) - The UMKC women's tennis squad kept its school record home streak alive on Sunday, knocking off Oral Roberts at the Plaza Tennis Center, 5-2.
The 'Roos (5-7) took care of business in doubles play with wins at both the number one and two spots, while getting a victory in the third slot by default.
In singles action, UMKC was strong at the top, taking straight-set wins at No. 1 from Dimitra Stavrianakou and No. 2 from Maddie Schulte. ORU grabbed its only two points of the day at the No. 3 and 4 spots, but the 'Roos closed out the victory with Raquel Argenal and Allie Schulte taking matches at the last two positions.
UMKC will face Western Illinois at home Monday at 5 p.m.
