The Game
The Missouri-Kansas City women's basketball team (4-18, 2-5) kicks off the second half of the WAC season when it heads to Las Cruces, N.M. on Feb. 7 to take on New Mexico State (14-6, 7-0). Tip-off between the 'Roos and the Aggies is slated for 3 p.m. CT on Saturday at the Pan Am Center.

Calli White, Grace Mitchell and Aries Washington all finished in double figures, as the Missouri Kansas City women's basketball team fell 69-51 on Thursday night to Texas-Pan American at the UTPA Fieldhouse.
For Mitchell, her ten points are the fifth time in her last six games that she has reached double figures, while Aries Washington scored 10 or more points for the fourth time in her last five games, finishing with 10 points and a career-high tying nine rebounds. White, meanwhile, led the 'Roos, who fall to 4-18 overall and 2-5 in the WAC, with 13 points, including knocking down all three of the Kangaroos' three-point field goals.
The Coaches
Nationally known for her top-notch recruiting classes, Marsha Frese enters her third season as head women's basketball coach at UMKC. Frese brings 16 seasons of experience as a Division-I player and coach to the UMKC campus. During her first two seasons in Kansas City, Frese began to establish her vision for a championship culture while guiding the 'Roos toward excellence, both on the court and in the classroom.
Mark Trakh enters his fourth season at the helm of the NM State women's basketball program. Entering the 2014-15 season, Trakh has guided the Aggies to 31 wins in three seasons and holds 320 victories as a head coach.

Last Time Against The Aggies
Playing a career-high 31 minutes, Kiana Law nearly missed her second career double-double, as the freshman finished with team-high's of 16 points, on 7-of-10 shooting, and nine rebounds as the Missouri-Kansas City women's basketball team fell 60-48 in the Western Athletic Conference opener at the Swinney Recreation Center. With the win, New Mexico State improves to 8-6 overall and 1-0 in the WAC, while the Kangaroos fall to 2-14 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
Calli White added 15 points, including hitting four of her nine three-point attempts, and five assists, while defensively, UMKC limited the Aggies to just 44.2 percent shooting from the field, including 26.7 percent from long range. As a team, UMKC outrebounded New Mexico State 30 to 28, while the UMKC bench, led by Law, outscored the Aggie reserves 21 to 3.
