Trojans Squeeze Past 'Roos Tennis on Sunday, 4-3

The Trojans (6-2) took the doubles point, coming from down a match after UMKC's (2-5) No. 1 pair of Laura Bouet and Eva Dalvai rolled to an 8-4 win.
In singles play, UMKC got the first point when Amelie Amsallem took a straight set win at No. 5. UALR took the next three singles matches though, sealing the win. The 'Roos finished their final two points in third set battles, first getting a final set tiebreak win at No. 3 from Dimitra Stavrianakou. The final point came at No. 6 when Maddie Schulte came from a set down to get the victory.
Kansas City will be back in action on Wednesday when it hits the road for a contest with Missouri.
