UMKC Makes it Six Straight, Takes Out Oakland 4-0

It was the opening match of the second Summit League Cluster, helping the 'Roos (10-7, 5-0 SL) keep their school record conference start perfect. The 'Roos also claimed double digit wins for the third straight year.
UMKC grabbed the doubles point quickly, winning all three matches handily without giving up more than two games.
The singles portion saw junior Suzan Lisenby pick up a 6-0, 6-1 win at the No. 5 spot, while freshman Amelie Amsallem grabbed a straight set win at No. 3 (6-1, 6-1). Junior Eva Dalvai grabbed a win at the No. 1 position with 6-2, 6-1 scores. The other three matches were not completed after UMKC clinched the fourth point.
UMKC will face both Oral Roberts and South Dakota State on Friday at the cluster.
