UMKC Softball To Sell Pink Jerseys During Upcoming Week

Kansas City, Mo. - The UMKC softball team will be selling Pink Cancer Awareness Jerseys throughout the upcoming week that will be worn by the players during the annual Missouri Coaches Against Cancer Tournament on March 5-7, in Columbia, Mo., as well as the South Dakota State series on April 2-3, in Brookings, S.D.
The cost of each jersey is $100 and will bear the name of a cancer survivor or a lost loved one. Following the South Dakota State series, the jerseys will be returned to the buyer. All proceeds from the sale of the jerseys will go to the Cynthia Joy Gabel Scholarship Fund.
If interested in purchasing a jersey, please contact Head Coach Meredith Smith at smithmer@umkc.edu with the name that you wish to appear on the jersey, the number and the size by Feb. 15. Payment for the jersey must be received by March 1 and checks can be made payable to UMKC Softball.
