Post Game Quotes from Coach Benben
OU All-Access: Coach, you battled ORU to a 0-0 tie, what were you're thoughts as you headed to the shootout?
UMKC Head Coach Rick Benben: We've been in enough of them, it's really by chance that it ends. We knew when we didn't win the game in regulation, there was a chance that we were not going to be successful. I thought we played pretty well. Oral Roberts played well. Overall it was a pretty good game. We're obviously disappointed but hey, we didn't score and it's certainly a deserving win for them.
AA: Coach it will obviously take some time to get over the disappointment of losing, but ultimately, you will you feel like this was a good season, right?
Coach Benben: Oh yes, we're proud of our team. They played well, we have a good group of kids. We're proud of the effort that they put out every game. We are disappointed but we're not going to forget what we've accomplished this season.
