
UMKC Inducts Inaugural Hall of Fame Class

Kansas City, Mo. -- The UMKC Athletics Department inducted its inaugural Hall of Fame class on Friday night at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kansas City. The 10-person class consisted of eight student-athletes, one former coach/administrator and one friend of the program.Â
Neil Harwell, the television voice of UMKC basketball, served as the emcee for the event. A presenter introduced each inductee before the Hall of Famers were given the opportunity to address the capacity crowd of 200 family, friends and supporters of the program. Â
