- Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing, Promotion and Fan Engagement
On Feb. 4, 2019, Hope McMorrow became the Kansas City Athletics Marketing Manager. She is part of the Athletics External Relations department, under the leadership of Deputy Athletics Director Curt Jacey.
McMorrow brings to this position over six years of experience and a true passion for working in the sports field.
“I’m ecstatic to be joining the Kansas City Athletics family,” commented McMorrow. “I am looking forward to further elevating the traditions, values, and excitement in Kansas City's Division I Athletics program throughout the campus and the Kansas City community.”
Prior to Kansas City, McMorrow was Partnership Services Manager at Matador Sports Properties (MSP)-CSUN Athletics. At MSP, she held many duties such as assisting the General Manager managing over 30 partners, game-day production and day-to-day communication with all intercollegiate Athletic staff.
McMorrow previously held a local store marketing coordinator position at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt located in both Granada and Mission Hills California. Her roles included managing customer needs at a highly professional level, producing creative marketing strategies to help solidify the Menchie’s brand in the Southern California Valley region and managing the social media accounts.
She is excited for the opportunity to use her experience in order to reach Kansas City's fan base to enhance the game-day environment and to bring excitement to campus and the surrounding Kansas City area.
McMorrow earned her degree in Communications and Media from California State University, Northridge.
