Aaron Lewis joined Kansas City Athletics in the fall of 2023 as the Director of Game Operations. In his current role, he is in charge of setting up and tearing down all Athletic-related events, as well as coordinating with opposing teams and officials to ensure operational success.
"I wanted to work at Kansas City because I love the environment here," Lewis said. "The people I get to work with make me not only a better worker, but a better person as well. I know that Kansas City will get me to where I want to be in my future, and I can't wait to see our department succeed in the coming future."
Prior to joining the Roos, Lewis has worked with the Kansas City Royals as an usher and with the Kansas City Monarchs as an in-game emcee. With the Royals, he helped maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for fans, and with the Monarchs he was in charge of bringing the game to life between innings.
Lewis attended Benedictine College, graduating in 2022 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with a specialty in Sports Broadcasting. During his time at Benedictine he was an announcer for the Ravens and was a member of the football team from 2018-20.
Originally from St. Louis, he attended Francis Howell High School and was a four-year varsity football letterman.
