Bryan Perez enters his first season as a volunteer assistant, and has impressive accolades to bring with him.
He has played the last two seasons professionally in the United Soccer League's Professional Developmental League (PDL) with the Des Moines Menace.
A former UMKC star, he closed out his career as the UMKC school record holder in goals (29), points (70), shots (160) and games played (78). He started all 78 games of his 'Roo career and also became the first three-time first team all-league honoree and the first four-time all-league selection in school history.
The 2009 Summit League Offensive Player of the Year, a First Team all-Summit League selection, and NSCAA/Performance Subaru all-Midwest Region second team honoree as s senior. He led the team and ranked first in The Summit League in goals (11) and points (25), ranked second in shots (54) and tied for fourth in assists (3). The 11 goals and 25 points were tied for the third most in a single season in school history.
A native of Miami, Florida, he is one of just seven players in UMKC history to tally a hat trick, as he accomplished the feat in a 4-3 win over Drake on Sept. 30, 2008.
