Why Kansas City: Coach Mitchell and Coach Shirley were very encouraging and excited about having me on the team as well as how focused yet fun the girls on the team were! UMKC had the major I was looking for in a place completely different from where I grew up, and I was looking for something new and completely fresh. The girls and guys on the team were very inviting and excited to meet me even before I committed and made me feel like this was the home for me!
