Transportation Options for Roos Basketball at Municipal Auditorium

All Rails Lead to Muni!
The KC Streetcar provides an excellent option for Roos fans making their way to Municipal Auditorium. The streetcar is always free and has stops located from UMKC all the way to the Riverfront. Municipal Auditorium is easily accessible from the Power & Light Streetcar stop at 14th and Main. Fans can walk one block north to East 13th Street and two blocks west towards Central Street.
Streetcar at UMKC Volker Campus
Streetcar parking is available on the UMKC Volker Campus in the 5050 Oak Garage, located directly west of the Cherry Street Garage, 5009 Oak St., and just steps away from the UMKC Streetcar stop. Power & Light is 11 stops north of UMKC, approximately a 20-minute ride.

For fans looking to take personal transportation to Municipal Auditorium, there are plenty of parking options! We recommend the 1210 Broadway surface lot (just one block west of Municipal) or the 1400 Baltimore garage located near Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City (just one block southeast of Municipal). Other options include:
- KC Live! garage (151 E 13th St.) - four blocks east of Municipal
- 10th and Wyandotte garage (1004 Wyandotte St.) - three blocks north of Municipal
- 13th and Walnut garage (1220 Walnut St.) - three blocks east and one block north of Municipal
