Bryson Gosch, Jeremy Francou picked as 'Players to Watch'
Francou was an Honorable Mention All-League and All-Newcomer honoree last season, appearing in 10 games with four starts. He scored four goals on the year, including one in the Roos' NCAA Tournament First Round win over Saint Louis. After dealing with injury to begin the season, he made his mark at the years' end, starting in all four of KC's postseason games with a season-high 82 minutes played in the Summit League Championship victory over Denver.
Gosch was a vital piece of the puzzle for the Roos last year, starting in all 21 games while earning Honorable Mention All-League and All-Tournament Team awards. He tallied 1,776 minutes on the season, including full-time play in 15 games. He was on the field for every minute of the Roos' postseason run, scoring an equalizing goal in the 28th minute of the Summit League Championship win against Denver.
Kansas City opens the 2025 season with a challenge, traveling to No. 5 SMU for a season-opening game on Thursday evening. The Roos will then host No. 24 Missouri State on Monday, Aug. 25. Single game and season tickets to watch the No. 18 Roos are available now.
