Kansas City selected for a ninth-place finish in the preseason poll
In her first year as a Roo, Koch showed that she was a force to be reckoned with before dealing with injuries in the back half of the season. She was named the Summit League's Offensive Peak Performer of the Week on Aug. 19, scoring a goal in the Roos' 1-1 draw with Marquette. She appeared in five games on the year and the Roos were 3-0-2 in those contests. The former Kansas 6A Forward of the Year will look to continue elevating in her junior season.
Entering her fourth season in a Kansas City uniform, Muhr has made 24 starts in 44 appearances across her career, including 16 starts last year. She ranked fourth on the team in total minutes last season, tallying 1,377 while playing full-time in six games. She also scored her first-career goal last year, netting the game-winner against Southern Illinois on Aug. 29.
Kansas City opens the season at home against Saint Louis this Thursday. Tickets are available now and the game will be streamed live on the Summit League Network.
