KANSAS CITY - Blustery conditions defined the day at the Plaza Tennis Center as Kansas City Tennis (5-12, 1-4 Summit) fell to league-leading Denver (14-6, 5-0 Summit) this afternoon, 6-1. Denver took the doubles point despite a win by KC at the No. 3 position from Eva Kresovic and Anastassiya Timofeyeva, the duo's second win of conference play. Kansas City won the first point of singles play via a Denver forfeit at the No. 6 spot. It was all Pios from there, with Kansas City winning just two sets: one from Joana Miralles Cardona at No. 1, and one from Amal Gati at No. 5.
