Kansas City got things started in doubles and didn't look back

LIBERTY, Mo. - Kansas City Tennis (5-9) had little trouble handling cross-town rival William Jewell (4-10) this afternoon, defeating the Cardinals, 6-1. Eva Kresovic and Anastassiya Timofeyeva set the tone in doubles with a 6-1 win at the No. 3 spot, giving the Roos an early advantage. The singles matches were more of the same, with all five of the Kansas City wins coming in straight-set fashion.
