Volleyball Set to Host Spring Tournament

The Roos will play Tulsa, WSU, Rockhurst and Arkansas in a free admission event
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Volleyball welcomes Arkansas, Missouri, Northern Iowa, Tulsa, Wichita State and Rockhurst for a Spring Tournament on Saturday, April 8, in the Swinney Center. Each team will play three-or-four matches, starting at 9Â a.m. and finishing around 2:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch.
The tournament is open to the public and admission is free.
Head Coach Christi Posey loves the chance to host such an event every year.
"We've been hosting this tournament for several years and the competition is always fierce," she said. "The spring allows teams teams to work on specific strategies as well as develop younger players, since wins and losses are not recorded. For a casual volleyball enthusiast or passionate fan-natic, this is an awesome opportunity to catch exciting volleyball action!"
