Kate Miley won the deciding match, taking a three-set thriller at No. 4 singles

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Tennis (7-8, 3-0 Summit) remained undefeated in Summit League play with its second-straight home win, squeaking past South Dakota (2-11, 0-2 Summit), 4-3. The Roos' three match win streak is KC's longest in conference play since the 2019 season.

Kansas City started strong in doubles play, picking up quick wins at the No. 2 and 3 spots for the Roos' first doubles point of Summit League play. From there, the two teams battled it out in singles. Catherine Chrobak and Joanna Cardona picked up straight-set wins, while the Coyotes tied the match up with three wins. It all came down to a third set at No. 4 singles, where Kate Miley ran away in the third set to claim the victory.
