Five Things to Know
- Kansas City went to overtime in both games against Oral Roberts this past weekend, coming away with a split. Now, they face North Dakota State at home Friday and Saturday.
- Naomie Alnatas was named Summit League Player of the Week after a 45-point performance in Saturday's overtime win against Oral Roberts. This was the first time a Roos player had scored 40-or-more points since Dayon Hall-Jones scored 43 against the Golden Eagle in 2011. It was also the second-highest single-game scoring output in program and Summit League history.
- Paige Bradford and Jonaie Johnson teamed up for double-doubles on Saturday afternoon, the first time two Roos reached that mark since Cristina Soriano and Ericka Mattingly against California Baptist on Jan. 25, 2020. Bradford posted 14 points and 11 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the year while Johnson had 12 points and 10 rebounds for her first-career double-double.
- Last weekend's matchups with the Golden Eagles marked the first time that the Roos played in back-to-back overtime games since defeating Texas Southern and San Francisco in December of 2013. It was also the third game in Roos' the past four meetings with ORU to go to OT.
- Saturday's victory was the first time Kansas City broke the century mark since defeating Chicago State 100-50 on March 9, 2019. It was the first time the Roos scored 100-plus against a team not named Chicago State since 2017.

- After taking the win in the first game against the Golden Eagles, the Roos took the second game to overtime again, but could not seal the deal in 71-67 loss.

- Kansas City shot 39.1% from the field, finishing strong with a 10-for-13 fourth quarter.

- Kansas City rode a 17-0 run in the last 4:30 of the game to seize victory from the jaws of defeat against the Bison.
- Ericka Mattingly scored 11 of those points, finishing the game with 23 to lead the team.
- The Roos forced 19 turnovers against the Bison, leading to 20 points.
- Seven different players scored for Kansas City in the first half.
All-Time Series vs. North Dakota State: Tied, 7-7
- Kansas City has won four of the last five meetings between these two schools, including the last two-straight.
- Their first meeting took place in Fargo on January 19, 2008 and that game went to the Bison by a score of 80-62.
- Kansas City won the only overtime game in the rivalry, a 76-75 win in the 2010 conference tournament.
- The highest scoring game between these two teams was their second meeting on 2/18/2008, a 94-81 defeat for the Roos.
- Kansas City has scored 70-plus points five times in this rivalry, winning three such games.
- The Roos are 4-2 at home all-time against North Dakota State.

- North Dakota State comes in with an 11-3 record, including 6-2 in conference play. It has won their last six of seven games with the last being a 74-56 win over Denver.
- Heaven Hamling leads the team in scoring with 12.2 points per game. She scored 16 in their game against Denver.
- Emily Dietz leads the team in field goal percentage among starters with 57.8% shooting.
- The Bison are second in The Summit League in scoring (70.6 points per game) and fourth in points allowed (64.1 points per game).
