
Roos to Face a Pair of Instate Foes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC women's tennis (5-8) returns home when they host Northwest Missouri State (1-4) on Friday at 1 p.m. before heading to Springfield, Mo., for a match with Missouri State (4-4).

The Roos return to action this weekend when they host Northwest Missouri State on Friday before traveling to Missouri State on Saturday.
Last week, the Roos dropped a pair of matches at Nebraska and against Illinois State with Aliona Ladutska earning WAC Singles Player of the Week for her efforts.
The Bearcats have opened the season with a 1-4 record, picking up a win over William Jewell, while falling to Lewis, Indianapolis, Drury and Washburn.
Missouri State enters the weekend with a 4-4 record this year with their wins coming over SIU Edwardsville, Omaha, Southeast Missouri State and Quincy.
