(Kansas City, Mo.) – After a successful 2015-16 campaign that included two top-10 finishes in NCAA Championships and a pair of Western Athletic Conference titles, tickets for the 2016-17 UMKC Athletics season, with an all new and affordable pricing structure, are now available for all 'Roo fans.
As Kansas City's Division I team, the Kangaroos are looking to expand their ever-growing legion of supporters after increasing season ticket sales by nearly 20% last season, including a 37% rise in men's basketball season tickets and a 90% rise in fall sports season tickets.
UMKC kicks-off it 2016-17 slate in August with men's and women's soccer and volleyball where season tickets for each sport can be purchased for just $50 or $100 for a group of four. Fans who purchase men's soccer season tickets will be able to watch the 'Roos battle Drake on Sep. 10 at Durwood Stadium, while the following day, the women's squad faces-off with Kansas. Volleyball season ticket holders, meanwhile, will be able to watch each WAC contest, as well as the Kangaroo Klassic on Sep 9-10.
After advancing to the semifinals of the WAC Tournament in each of the past two seasons, fans can watch each of All-American Martez Harrison's and the UMKC men's basketball team's games with season tickets starting at just $99. New to the 'Roo season ticket packages this year are FREE parking with a minimum purchase of two tickets and a ticket exchange program that allows fans to never waste a ticket. Club Reserved section season tickets, meanwhile, are available for only $499 and include food, drinks, and a discounted bar service for every home game.
On the women's side, season tickets for the 2016-17 basketball season are available for $50 per ticket. For the 'Roo fan wanting to be as close to the action as possible, courtside seats can be purchased for just $25 dollars more and include a $15 concession stand voucher.
