Roos Tennis Falls at Mizzou, 6-1

(Columbia, Mo.) - UMKC women's tennis dropped a 6-1 contest at Missouri on Saturday, it was the first point the Roos have scored against the Tigers since 1997.
The Tigers (4-0) took the doubles point, winning the matches at both No. 1 and No. 2, while the Roos (2-1) were in the lead at the No. 3 position.
In singles play, the Roos picked up their lone win at the No. 6 position from sophomore Allie Schulte, who tallied a straight set 6-0, 6-0 victory. The Roos were competitive at the No. 2 and No. 5 positions, but Mizzou prevailed in straight sets none the less.
UMKC will remain on the road, facing Nebraska in Lincoln next Friday, before facing Wyoming the next day.
