Kangaroos Take Out Evangel Sunday, Move to 3-0 at Home

(Kansas City, Mo.) - UMKC women's tennis remained undefeated at home with a 7-0 victory over Evangel Sunday at the Overland Park Racquet Club.
The 'Roos (3-4) took it to EU right away, taking both the doubles at Nos. 1 and 2 by 6-1 and 6-2 margins, respectively.
In singles play, the 'Roos switched up the lineup, moving Marina Albert up to No. 3. She had to battle to claim the victory, with all the sets going to tiebreaker. The 'Roos won each of the other sets in convincing fashion, taking them all in straight sets.
UMKC will be back in action on Saturday at Kansas State.
