Kansas City Falls to No. 43 Shockers, 5-0

(Wichita, Kan.) - The UMKC women's tennis squad played the new experimental format on Friday, with one doubles and four singles matches being played at the same time. The No. 43 Wichita State Shockers took the match though, 5-0.
Dimitra Stavrianakou gave WSU No. 1 Julia Schiller a tough battle, taking the first set 6-2, before falling in the final two sets. WSU won each of the other three singles match, as well as the doubles match in straight sets.
UMKC will face Colorado tomorrow in Wichita.
