No. 59 Washington State Knocks Off 'Roos, 6-1

(Pullman, Wash.) - UMKC women's tennis dropped a 6-1 dual at Washington State on Friday, picking up a win at the No. 6 spot from senior Gaby Pintos.
The Wildcats (11-2) made quick work of the 'Roos (3-6) in doubles play, taking 8-1 and 8-2 decisions at the top two courts.
In singles play, WSU clinched the match after straight set wins at the one, two and three spots, making the rest of the matches non-essential. The contests at No. 5 and 6 were mutually agreed on to play to only one pro set, with Pintos taking the win, 8-4 at No. 6
UMKC will face Lewis-Clark State and Idaho on Saturday in Lewiston, Idaho.
