Offense Stalls in Second Half, Roos Can't Keep Up With Bears
GREELEY, Colo. -- Kansas City Women's Basketball (2-6) got out to a strong start, leading Northern Colorado (7-2) 34-27 at halftime but yielded several runs in the second half leading to the Roos ultimate 72-59 defeat in game one of the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge on Wednesday night. It was a defensive battle early on with Kansas City and Northern Colorado tied at 4-4 through the first five minutes. One of Jamyah Winter's four three pointers helped the Roos break loose from the Bears and gain a steady advantage, leading 13-8 at the end of the opening quarter. 
The KC Roos took on the Idaho State Bengals delivered a fast-paced performance that kept the crowd locked in from start to finish. The Bengals won in a final score of 68-59.
