Diego Giraldo enters his third season as an assistant coach in 2024-25. A former player for the Roos' men's team, Giraldo's playing bio can be found here.

The 2023-24 season saw Kansas City post a 5-14 record, earning key victories over Eastern Illinois, Western Illinois and St. Thomas. Joana Miralles Cardona earned First Team All-Summit honors, while Catherine Chrobak brought home an Honorable Mention All-League nod. For the second-straight year, Laura Munoz-Baroja was honored on the Academic All-Summit League team.

In the 2022-23 season, the Roos exceeded expectations. After being selected to finish sixth in the Summit League in the preseason poll, KC elevated to a second place regular season finish and a qualification to the Summit League Semifinals. Freshman Catherine Chrobak was named First Team All-League, and Sophomore Joana Cardona earned Honorable Mention All-League honors. Laura Munoz-Baroja was named the Summit's Scholar of the Championship, also earning Summit League Academic All-League and College Sport Communicator's Academic All-District honors.
