Why Kansas City?: "Kansas City is a strong Division One athletic program with a very successful tennis program. I really like Coach Hale; we had a great connection and I saw myself really working well with him. UMKC is also known for its academic achievement, with a rigorous pre-med program. Having a solid academic program is something that I really value and was one of the main qualities I was looking for in a university. The city itself is such a diverse city and I knew I would be exposed to a rich culture. In the heart of the city, I knew I would have many future career opportunities."
Coach Hale on Chrobak: "I am super excited to have Catherine as the newest member of the Roo family. She is a great player, and more importantly a great person that will be an asset to our team. She shows great movement and is extremely smart on the court. We're excited to be able to work with her."
