The Roo Legends program represents all Kansas City Athletics former student-athletes that have proudly competed as a Kansas City Roo. With the directive of building family, pride, and community succeeding the college experience, the Roo Legends program will reconnect and engage alumni with the University and the Kansas City Athletics department. The Roo Legends will celebrate past successes and create tradition while supporting the pursuits of current student-athletes.
Eligibility Requirements
The Roo Legends is an exclusive alumni organization, only available to a select group of individuals.
In addition to the $50 registration fee^, to be a member of the Roo Legends you must meet the following eligibility requirements*:
- Competed one full season for a Kansas City Athletics varsity sport program
- Maintained good academic standing that includes, but not limited to, all guidelines and protocols in place via Student-Athlete Services
- Maintained eligibility within the NCAA guidelines
^Note: You are allowed to make monthly payments on the registration fee ($4.17 per month).

Goals
- Increase engagement for former student-athletes involved with the Roo Legends
- Develop and strengthen relationships with current and former student-athletes
- Encourage current members to recruit additional Roo Legends regionally and nationally
- Provide social and business networking opportunities for former and current student-athletes throughout Kansas City
Objectives
- Provide multiple opportunities throughout the year for former student-athletes to return to campus and remain connected with the athletic department
- Strengthen and promote tradition within Kansas City Athletics
- Exhibit pride and passion for all Kansas City Athletics sport programs
- Generate funds to support Kansas City Athletics
