Kansas City Men's Golf will benefit from the newly minted partnership
KANSAS CITYÂ - Kansas City Athletics is proud to announce its newest partnership with GolfTRK, a Lenexa-based indoor golf facility. The partnership will service the Roos' reigning Summit League Champion Men's Golf team, providing expanded resources and technology.
"Our relationship with GolfTRK will continue to shape our players' ability to properly train and develop at the highest possible levels," Head Coach JW VanDenBorn said. "Our access to train with the best technology, rain or shine, will allow us to be more completely prepared for each tournament throughout the season. GolfTRK is committed to providing an elite player development experience and will be an invaluable part of our success going forward.
GolfTRK is a premier indoor facility that features Trackman and Puttview, training technologies used by players at the highest levels. Trackman provides a golf simulation experience that allows players to work on all aspects of their game, while Puttview focuses on the short game, using tracking units to make putting into an interactive learning experience.
"GolfTRK is thrilled to tee off a partnership with Kansas City Men's Golf," Alex Reed, owner of GolfTRK, said. "As a business with roots in the KC community, teaming up with the Roos to provide a best-in-class indoor golf training and performance facility was a natural fit. We look forward to supporting our players and following their progress as our partnership kicks off."
The technology and equipment provided by GolfTRK will give the Roos opportunities to play simulated rounds at some of the world's most renowned courses, such as Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, Quail Hollow and more. Using the latest tour-grade technology, student-athletes will have access to a more efficient and targeted game-improvement experience.
"GolfTRK's partnership with the Roos was established to provide the team with a year-round indoor performance facility that gives each player a technological advantage in their golf training," Reed said. "We are excited to support Kansas City Athletics, their student-athletes and invest in our local community with this partnership.
Kansas City has played in a pair of tournaments already this spring, finishing in the top half of the field and shooting under-par in both events. The Roos are back in action from April 1-3 at the Golfweek/Any Given Tuesday Invitational in Pawley's Island, S.C.
