The Roos will run in four races before the postseason
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Cross Country schedule for the 2022 season has officially been released, with the Roos running in four races prior to postseason competition.
The Roos will open up the season at the Bob Timmons Classic in Lawrence, Kan. for the second season in-a-row. Katherine Hanners was the Roos' key performer in last year's race, finishing in second place.
The Roos will take two weeks off before traveling to Lincoln, Neb. for the Greeno/Dirksen Invitational and will wrap up September in Columbia, Mo. at the Gans Creek Classic.
Kansas City finishes off the regular season with a road trip to College Station, Texas, running in Texas A&M's Arturo Barrios Invitational for the second time in as many years.
KC will set its sights towards the 2022 Summit League Cross Country Championships on Oct. 29 before the NCAA Regionals on Nov. 11. All qualifiers will then run in the NCAA Championships on Nov. 19.
