2007 -- Indoor... member of the fifth place distance medley relay (11:21.18) at the 2007 Mid-Con Indoor Championships... also placed fifth in the high jump (6-3 ?), ninth in the long jump (20-2 ?) and 10th in the shot put (36-2) at the Championship... placed fifth in the high jump (5-11 ?) at the EIU Mega Meet... placed eighth in the shot put (36-4 ?) at the Wisconsin Elite Invitational... finished 10th in the long jump (20-3 ?) at the EIU Mega Meet... was 11th in the high jump (6-1 ?) at the UCM Mule Relays... placed 13th in the high jump (6-0 ?) at the Missouri Invitational... Outdoor... finished second in the high jump (6-4) at the ESU Spring Twilight... finished 10th in the high jump (5-10 ?), 11th in the triple jump (42-0) and 18th in the long jump (19-8 ?) at the Mid-Con Championships... named to the Mid-Con Winter/Spring Academic all-Conference team and to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

2005 -- Indoor... established a personal best in the high jump with a 6-7 1/2 jump to finish second and earn all-conference honors at the 2005 Mid-Con Indoor Championships... Outdoors... had personal bests in the high jump (6-4 3/4 at the 2005 Mid-Con Outdoor Championships) and long jump (20-6 1/2 at Southwest Missouri State).

High School -- Four-year letterwinner... all-state selection in long jump (fifth), high jump (sixth) and triple jump (10th) at 2004 Kansas State Outdoor Track and Field Championships... finished second in high jump and sixth place in triple jump at 2003 Kansas state outdoor meet... outstanding in the classroom as well, graduating second in his class with a perfect 4.00 grade point average throughout high school... member of National Honor Soceity and a member of Who's Who Among American High Schoolers.

Personal -- Born Sept. 17, 1985... son of Dwight and Sheree Stoppel... majoring in business... father was a three-time Division II all-American high jumper at Fort Hays State and the 1977 National Champion.
