In addition to serving as President of Tau Beta Pi, Knoche, along with senior Meagan Malloy of Women's Soccer, serve as mentors to freshmen in the School of Computing and Engineering. Knoche wants to encourage young women to choose a career in Engineering because "It will develop your ability to be creative, think logically, and solve problems. It is a wonderful career path for women as Engineering is a male dominated field." This coming spring, Knoche will graduate with around thirty other Electrical and Computer Engineering majors, five of which are female.
