Roos' Season Comes to a Close in Summit Semifinals
TULSA, Okla. - The fifth-seed in the Summit League Championships, Kansas City Women's Soccer gave top-seeded Oral Roberts all it could handle. The Roos scored the opening goal and set the pace for the entire first half. Even after conceding a pair of goals in back-to-back minutes, the Roos continued to fight, creating opportunities in the waning moments of the match. In spite of the Roos' efforts, the Golden Eagles would move on and secure a spot in the finals in a 2-1 decision.

Kansas City Shuts Down #4 South Dakota, Advances to Semifinals
VERMILLION, S.D. - Fourth-seeded Kansas City Women's Soccer (9-7-3) withstood a late storm from #5 South Dakota in this afternoon's Summit League Quarterfinal match, taking down the Coyotes 1-0 and advancing to the semifinal round. The Roos were led by a 16th minute goal from Olivia Platt and three second half saves from Anika Patton, moving to the final site of the conference championship and setting up a meeting with top-seeded Oral Roberts.
